REQUEST FOR QUOTATION – REFRIGERATED BLOOD BANK CENTRIFUGE Dear Sales Team, We are looking for a new, current-generation, floor-standing refrigerated centrifuge for blood component separation in a Blood Bank in Mozambique. Required quantity: 1 unit. Please provide your technical proposal and commercial quotation for a model that meets the following minimum specifications: 1. Technical requirements - Floor-standing refrigerated centrifuge designed for blood component separation. - Capacity for at least 8 blood bags of up to 550 mL per cycle, including compatibility with single, double, triple and quadruple blood bag systems. - Maximum relative centrifugal force (RCF): ≥ 5,000 × g. - Adjustable refrigeration temperature covering at least +4 °C to +22 °C, in 1 °C increments. - Natural refrigerant or equivalent environmentally compliant technology. - High-torque, brushless induction motor or equivalent. - At least 9 acceleration profiles and 9 deceleration profiles. - Automatic run-time compensation using ω²t control or equivalent. - Memory for at least 50 programmes. - Timer up to at least 99 minutes and continuous operating mode. - Automatic imbalance detection and shutdown. - Motorized lid locking and emergency opening mechanism. - Digital/touchscreen interface suitable for operation with gloves, with password access control. - Cycle, operating parameter and alarm records, exportable via USB or network. - Compliance with IEC 61010-2-020 or equivalent. 2. Required accessories and supply The quotation must include: - One complete rotor with buckets and inserts compatible with at least 8 blood bags. - Compatible blood bag balancing scale. - Voltage stabilizer or appropriately sized UPS. - Two-year wear-parts kit. - Installation qualification (IQ) and operational qualification (OQ). 3. General procurement requirements Please confirm compliance with the following: - New, unused equipment in original manufacturer packaging. - Electrical supply: 220–230 V ±10%, 50 Hz, compatible with Mozambique. - Applicable CE, FDA or equivalent IMDRF regulatory approvals. - Manufacturer ISO 13485 certification or equivalent. - Applicable IEC electrical safety certification. - Minimum 24-month warranty, including parts, labour and travel, with at least one preventive maintenance visit per year. - Spare parts and consumables availability for at least 7 years. - Technical support in Mozambique or formal commitment to provide it, with response time not exceeding 48 hours. - Delivery DDP to the final installation site in Maputo, Mozambique. - Installation, commissioning and on-site acceptance testing. - On-site user and first-level maintenance training. - Portuguese user manual and quick guide; service manual in Portuguese or English. - Manufacturer authorization letter, if the quotation is submitted by a distributor. - Confirmation that the exact proposed model is current and commercially available in the EU, USA or an eligible IMDRF-member country, and is not discontinued or replaced by a newer model. 4. Technical documentation Please attach: - Official manufacturer catalogue and datasheet. - User and service manuals. - Regulatory certificates and Declaration of Conformity. - ISO 13485 certificate. - IEC compliance documentation. - Rotor and bucket technical specifications. - Warranty and maintenance conditions. - Current-model declaration and spare-parts commitment.
